Who Is Mark Jones?
Working for someone too often profits their wealth – not yours. I set about to change that…..to build my own fortune. The only pay cheques that are truly secure are the ones you create for yourself. Starting with virtually nothing I established a simple plan and stuck to it. With patience and a little time, it’s got me where I am today. What I did….step by step….is simple….and all explained in my book.

When you’re wealthy will your life be perfect? I doubt it. You’ll still have problems and misunderstandings. Mechanical things still break down, people let you down, and it’ll rain when you were hoping for a sunny day. Such is life and it’s not perfect, but it will be a whole lot easier to deal with when you’re wealthy.
When you’re rich, you’ll still have problems, but you will always arrive in style.
So What did I do …………
As a 18 year old lad in 1985, I saved together approximately a 10% deposit on my first property, and the rest is history.
I am in no way an expert in property management. No one is. I have though, learnt an awful lot that has served to make me very successful. My book is simply and purely about sharing that….. “Recipe for success and my “secrets” with others. Yes, I have actually written, what I have to let others achieve, a better life, fulfill their own dreams….and those of loved ones.

Those whom the media put forward as experts have been shown time and time again to be no better than the rest of us at making forecasts. Unless your part of the family dynasties who run the central banks. But that’s another story! Take, for example, the legions of experts who lined up in the spring of 2002, and told us unequivocally that a property crash was then imminent, and yet they were all wrong. It didn’t happen for another 6 years.
But you watch after a brief period of rehabilitation, those same ‘experts’ will Soon be back climbing out the closets, to frighten us with their next piece of fortune-telling and they may still get it wrong!
Living in London I only observed the pattern that when property prices change, they hit London like a gust of wind.
They have dramatic peaks and troughs, but by the time those Winds have reached the Midlands and the North, they are just a tiny breeze. If you want drama, buy property in London. If you want a more peaceful, more predictable life, go to the provinces!
My knowledge of the subject is not just based on studying the market
Trends, economic forecasts or consulting fortune tellers at Blackpool beach, but on 20 years of buying, renting and selling properties. I would rather do things, I’m not just an observer, and then say I can’t do it. As I would say (I would rather be an has been than a never been)
From Home Owner to Landlord
My interest in letting had been instilled in me for some time! Probably when I first went down to London in the 80s paying fortunes for a room in one of those enormous old houses that was built in the 1950s, they had been converted into about 6 living areas, and also listening to people that I worked with in London, always stating ( my landlord must earn a fortune from me). I am lucky, 20 years on my world is somewhat different purely down to what I chose to do in property.

Tip… Ignore the ‘experts’ predictions about price rises and falls they are more often wrong more times than right, booms and busts are usually engineered from the highest level anyway! Best to do your own research
